CLINICAL FEATURE

   • Redness 

   • hotness 

   • pain,fever 

   • tenderness

   

INVESTIGATION 

• Blood c/s

• pus c/s

• USG 

• pus culture and sensitivity 

TREATMENT 

- general treatment

- • Good appetite 

    • bed rest 

    • • protein diet

- symptomatic treatment

- • pain - Diclofenac or analgesic

    • fever - paracetamol 

- specific treatment 

- • I/D

COMPLICATION 

• pyemia 

• septicemia
