Symptoms - pain in epigastric region
-water brash -heart burn -vomiting -constipation -aneroxia (loss of appetite) O/e (sign) -tenderness in epigastric region -guarding or rigidity of mucosa Investigation 1.upper GI endoscopy 2.stool for occult 3 CBC RX 1.general treatment - rest - diet 2 symptomatic treatment - If abdominal pain then use tab buscapen - if vomiting use don tab 3 specific treatment Tab antidne 150-300ng 1 tab BD 4-6 weeks Or Proton pump inhibitors Or Omeprazole 30-40mg BD
