Collection of pus into cavity covered by epithelial tissue is known as abcess

1) staphylococcus 

2) streptococcus

PATHOLOGY 

   - Direct 

   - blood stream 

CLINICAL FEATURE

   • Redness 

   • hotness 

   • swelling

   • pain,fever 

   • pus point can be seen 

   • loss of function 

INVESTIGATION 

• Blood sugar

• CBC 

• pus culture and sensitivity 

TREATMENT 

- general treatment

    • Good appetite 

    • bed rest 

    

- symptomatic treatment

    • pain - ibuprofen 

    • fever - paracetamol 

- specific treatment 

     • Antibiotics like cloxacillin .

     • I/D
